Hello and thank you for reading ADHD Unpacked!
Ever since launching in December 2023, I’ve been having a blast writing this newsletter. I have learned so much about ADHD and mental health, and I’ve gotten to know so many incredible people.
Now that I’m a few months in, I wanted to take a moment to formally introduce myself and ADHD Unpacked.
About ADHD Unpacked
ADHD Unpacked comes out on Tuesday mornings, between 2-4 times each month. (So either weekly or biweekly, depending on how much time I have to write!)
I share cutting-edge ADHD and mental health research in ways that are accessible, understandable, and useful in our everyday lives. For example:
I also write posts about my own mental health and executive functioning journey:
If you have specific topics you’d like me to explore in the newsletter, feel free to let me know! You can add a comment or email me at taylor@taylorallbright.com.

About Me
I’m Dr. Taylor Allbright, an ADHD and executive functioning coach. I specialize in compassionate, strengths-oriented, and evidence-based approaches to helping people thrive.
Before becoming an ADHD coach, I spent 14 years in the field of education as a high school teacher, researcher, and college professor.
My fascination with mental health is rooted in my own struggles with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. While I do not have diagnosed ADHD, my husband and several other family members do. My experiences loving and working with neurodivergent people have led me to become passionate about supporting and celebrating neurodiversity.
I am a mom and a stepmom, and my family lives in southern California with our two cats. Outside of work, I enjoy the beach, hiking, yoga, genre fiction, role-playing games, and hanging out with my family.
If you’re interested in working with me as a coach, you can inquire here.
Stay curious,
Dr. Taylor Allbright
