This is ADHD Unpacked — practical, ADHD-friendly productivity advice for professionals who want to work with their brains, not against them.
Every week-ish, I translate research into strategies that actually work for ADHD brains. No rigid systems or telling you to “try harder”—just science-backed insights, flexible tools, and absolutely zero judgment.
About ADHD Unpacked
You’ll hear from me about once a week. ADHD Unpacked uses two different platforms. I’ll post on Substack once a month, and I’ll send my regular email newsletter about 3x a month
You’ll get a monthly Substack post with cutting-edge ADHD science and practical implications for your everyday life. For example:
You’ll also get my email newsletter. These are short-yet-mighty emails filled with quick, actionable tools and strategies, plus insights about things that have worked for me and for my high-achieving ADHD clients
And it’s completely free! But if you’d like to contribute, 100% of paid subscription proceeds funds ADHD coaching scholarships for people in financial need

About Me
I help ADHD professionals stop fighting their brains, so they can do the things they love.
When I was a PhD student, I felt like I was drowning in an enormous, high-stakes, unstructured workload. I became fascinated with productivity systems—and, pretty soon, other students started coming to me for advice.
I’m also passionate about mental health, self-compassion, and breaking free from patterns of overachieving. It took me years to understand that my self-worth is more than just the lines on my CV.
As a professor, I loved working with students on understanding not just how to be productive, but also how to balance their achievements with care for their well-being.
When I met my husband and learned that he had ADHD, so many of my favorite qualities in him — his spontaneity, humor, and dynamic energy — were inextricably linked to his unique ADHD brain. And I saw how little support the neurotypical world gives to those of us who don’t fit into rigid neurotypical assumptions.
In this newsletter, I share practical tools I've developed, break down the latest ADHD research in accessible language, and include real stories from my own journey and from my work as a coach for high-achieving ADHD professionals.
Let’s get you the informatio and strategies you need to stop fighting your brain — and start finishing the things you love.
Warmly,
Taylor
