But it’s relatively easy to fix—just reject everything you were told and realize that there’s not anything wrong with you and there never was. Self-liberation.
Oh wow, this made me feel so seen! I struggle really badly with cooking meals for my family, so much so that we rely on takeout. I’ll try the self-compassionate approach next time it’s time to meal plan!
I’ve tried meal planning but unfortunately many times I no longer want to eat the meals I’ve planned. My work-around is to eat parts of a meal, like eat the veggie I bought for lunch and some protein around dinner time. Like you said, it should be simple. My brain thinks it’s simple but my stomach disagrees.
